Films and Console Games – Cheaper to Rent than to Buy

I’ve done some sums and figured out that from what I have bought in the past, it will actually be cheaper for me to rent and buy videos (Blu-Ray DVD) and console games (you can’t currently rent PC games).

Plus I have bought some console games that I didn’t like, so I’ve only played a few times.

I have used LoveFilm in the past (on a 3 free month trial) and found it to be a good service. I have just signed up to the Tesco rental service (which I believe uses LoveFilm as a back-end) on a 3 month free service. LoveFilm is cheaper than Tesco for the service I would want (£9.78 per month for 2 discs at a time, up to 4 per month).
